Kozhikode: Two-time I-League champions Gokulam Kerala FC have signed Domingo Oramas as their new head coach.
The 49-year-old Spanish coach brings a wealth of expertise and a winning mentality to the club. He has more than 20 years of coaching experience and a proven track record.
Oramas replaces compatriot Francesc Bonet at the helm, who took over from Richard Towa in late December.
Oramas' coaching career highlights include being awarded the Best Coach of the Year 2014 by the Las Palmas Football Federation. He guided U.D. San Fernando in Spain to the playoffs for gaining promotion to the third-tier of Spanish football.
Oramas' international experience includes working as a scout and Assistant Football Director for Independiente del Valle in Ecuador. He also prepared the first-team players for a successful season that culminated in winning the Sudamericana Cup 2019.
