Hardik Pandya bagged three wickets as Baroda defeated Bengal by 41 runs to enter the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 semifinals in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

Bengal were bowled out for 131 in response to Baroda's 172/7. Lukman Meriwala and Atit Sheth also took three wickets each for Baroda. Shahbaz Ahmed top-scored with a 36-ball score of 55 for Bengal.

Earlier, openers Abhimanyu Singh (37) and Shashwat Rawat (40) added 90 runs before the Baroda innings derailed. The Pandya brothers, Hardik (10) and Krunal (7) failed to impress with the bat.

Mohammed Shami, vying to return to the Indian team after an injury, bagged two wickets but went for 43 runs in four overs.
