India beat Pakistan by six runs in a low-scoring thriller at the T20 World Cup in New York on Sunday. Pakistan ended up with 113/7 in their chase of 120. Jasprit Bumrah was the star for India with figures of 2/14 from his four overs.

Earlier, Pakistan bowled out India for 119 in 19 overs in the Group A match. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf claimed three wickets for Pakistan. Rishabh Pant top-scored with a 31-ball 42.

India lost their way from 81/3 at the halfway stage to be bowled out for 119.

The toss was delayed by half an hour because of a wet outfield.
