Rajasthan Royals (RR) continued their dominant run in IPL 2024 with a thumping nine-wicket win over Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday night.

Medium-pacer Sandeep Sharma claimed 5/18 as MI ended up with 179/9 after opting to bat. MI openers Rohit Sharma (6) and Ishan Kishan (0) fell cheaply. Tilak Varma top-scored with 65, while Nehal Wadhera slammed a 24-ball 49. The two added 99 for the fifth wicket.

Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal (104 not out) and Jos Buttler (35) put on 74 to set the base for RR chase. Jaiswal and skipper Sanju Samson (38 not out) took them home with an unbeaten 109-run stand for the second wicket.
