Kozhikode: Southern Railway will operate Ahmedabad- Mangaluru and Gandhidham-Tirunelveli weekly special fare trains on various dates between October 31 and November 17 to clear extra rush of passengers.
The Ahmedabad - Mangaluru weekly special train will leave Ahmedabad at 9.30 am on November 1, 8 and 15 (all Tuesdays) to reach Mangaluru at 12.15 pm on the following Wednesdays, according to a SR release on Tuesday.
In the return direction, the Mangaluru-Ahmedabad weekly special train will depart at 4.45 pm from Mangaluru on November 2, 9 and 16 (all Wednesdays) to arrive at Ahmedabad at 7.20 p m on the following Thursdays.
Special fare trains will leave Gandhidham at 1.50 pm on October 31 and November 7 and 14 (all Mondays), to arrive at Tirunelveli at 11.30 a m on the following Wednesdays, it said.
In the return direction, Tirunelveli - Gandhidham weekly special fare will leave Tirunelveli at 7.45 am on November 3, 10 and 17 (all Thursdays) to arrive at Gandhidham at 4.30 a m on the following Saturdays, the release said.
