Palakkad: An elderly couple was found dead at their home in Shoranur here on Monday.
Karakkad natives Gopalakrishna Warrior (86) and wife Thankamani Waryasar (84) were found by the latter's sister's daughter and family after they returned home from a Rameswaram trip.
The police revealed that Thankamani's body bore injury marks. A bottle of pesticide was also recovered from the room where the bodies were found.
The couple did not have children.
