Malappuram: A 17-year-old student died after a tourist bus in which she was travelling slammed into an electric post at Veliyamkode flyover here in the early morning hours on Monday
The deceased was identified as Hiba (17), a student of Pallimukku Hayathul Issam Higher Secondary Madrasa in Kondotty. She was the daughter of Mujeeb Rahman Bakhavi, a resident of Morayur Arafa Nagar. Another student, Fidel Hanna, who sustained serious injuries, was admitted to a private hospital in Kottakkal.
The students were returning from a study tour to Vagamon. Hiba’s body has been shifted to Kuttippuram Taluk Hospital.
