2 youths stabbed to death, another hurt in revenge attack in Thrissur

Thrissur: Two youths were stabbed to death late Wednesday in Kodakara, Thrissur. The deceased are Sujith (29) and Abhishek (28). 

Abhishek, along with his friends Vivek and Hareesh, broke into Sujith's house and attacked him. During the fight, Abhishek stabbed Sujith, and upon attempting to defend himself, both Abhishek and Vivek were stabbed as well.

Although the injured were rushed to the hospital immediately after the attack, both Sujith and Abhishek could not be saved. Vivek, who was also admitted to the hospital, remains in critical condition.

Following the incident, Kodakara police arrived at the scene and arrested Hareesh, a member of the group, into custody. "The attack is believed to be an act of revenge. Four years ago, on Christmas night, Sujith had assaulted Vivek," police said. The investigation is underway.
