Kottayam: Four Sabarimala pilgrims and their driver sustained injuries after the car they were travelling collided with a parked truck in Kanjirappally, Kottayam, on Saturday afternoon.
The injured - Manikandan (28), Athey Srinivasalu (45), Sreeman Narayana (38), his 10-year-old daughter Lakshmi, and the driver, Lakshmi Reddy – are all natives of Prakasham district in Andhra Pradesh.
Police stated no life-threatening injuries, and the victims were admitted to Kanjirappally Taluk Hospital. Local residents and the fire department conducted the rescue efforts.
