With torrential rain continuing in Kerala, flooding several areas and triggering landslides, thousands of people are being shifted to relief camps. Reports from volunteers, however, indicate that many camps are facing acute shortage of necessary items for inmates.
Authorities have opened collection centres in all flood-affected districts.
The items required in each camps, as on August 11, 2019:
