All aircraft operations at the Cochin International Airport (CIAL) have been suspended till 3pm on Sunday (August 11). The decision was taken since the airport has been waterlogged.
The Indian Navy has opened the Kochi Naval Base Airport following requests from the Kerala government. Civil flights from now operate from the Naval Base.

- Services of Air Asia International on Friday and Saturday have been cancelled.
- Friday's flights from Qatar have been diverted to Trivandrum International Airport.
- Oman flights on Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be operated from Trivandrum International Airport.
- Kuwait flights on Friday and Saturday have been cancelled.
- Fly Dubai will be operating from Trivandrum airport on Friday.
- Services of Gulf Air have been cancelled on Friday and Saturday.
- AI 510 will be operating from Trivandrum on Friday.
- All Air India flights on Saturday will be operating from Trivandrum
- All passengers travelling by Friday's EK532/533 have been rebooked to Trivandrum. The airlines have sent SMS regarding this.
