Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Students Union (KSU) has called for an education bandh on Wednesday in Kerala. The bandh is called to protest against police lathi charge on its workers who had taken out a march to secretariat on Tuesday.
The march was organised by the KSU workers demanding the government to reduce college fees in Pariyaram medical college and to handover the investigation of Jesna missing case to the CBI.
In the lathi charge, KSU state president K M Abhijith, general secretary Nabeel Kallambalam and 10 others had sustained injuries. Police swung into action after the workers climbed over barricades and started throwing stones at the police.
