Srinagar: Two Army personnel lost their lives, and three others were injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near SK Payen in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district, officials told PTI on Saturday.
The injured soldiers were initially rushed to the district hospital, where the medical superintendent, Dr Masrat Iqbal, confirmed that two were "brought dead." The three injured soldiers were stabilised and later referred to Srinagar for further treatment.
