Kollam: The Rotary Club of Quilon, in collaboration with Geojit Financial Services and Manorama Sampadyam, is set to host a seminar on equity and mutual fund awareness. The event will take place at the Rotary Club Hall on January 18, starting at 9:30 am.
Newly designated Rotary Governor Krishnan G Nair will inaugurate the programme. Dr VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Financial Services, will deliver the keynote address, while Sudhir Kumar, Regional Manager of Geojit Thiruvananthapuram, will preside over.
The seminar will cover key aspects of ensuring better returns through equity investments and essential considerations for investors in equity. Sudhir Kumar will also address participants' queries during the session.
Rotary Assistant Governor Jyoti V, Rotary Club of Quilon Secretary Zakaria Samuel, and former Rotary Governor Shirish Keshavan etc will also participate.
As part of the programme, a quiz competition on the investment sector will be held, and the winners will receive prizes from Geojit and the Manorama Year Book. Stalls by Malayala Manorama and Geojit, too, will be set up at the venue.
