With increasing crime against women in Kerala, the authorities are trying to spread awareness in the society. There are several initiatives to help women in distress:
Kerala Women's Commission
As a quasi-judicial body, the Women’s Commission can intervene in all matters relating to women. Complaints can be directly submitted to the Women's Commission or via online. The Commission's headquarters is near the PMG junction in Thiruvananthapuram.

Aparajitha
‘Aparajitha is Online’ is a platform to report and resolve complaints related to cyber-crimes against women. Now, complaints of domestic abuse, including dowry-related harassment, can be submitted on the Aparajitha Online.

An initiative of the Department of Women and Child Development. The women will receive legal assistance online. They can register on the portal kathorthu.wcd.kerala.gov.in and report complaints.
