Former Miss World Diana Hayden and Big Boss contestant delivered a baby girl on Saturday. What makes this special is the fact that the baby was born out of one of her eggs which was frozen eight years ago.
According to reports, the 42-year-old gave birth in the Surya Mother and Child Hospital in Santa Cruz. Sources suggest that, Hayden was 32 when she decided to freeze her eggs after reading about it in 2006. She froze 16 eggs between the October 2007 and March 2008.
Hayden married American Collin Dick two years ago. The birth of Arya Hayden is confirmation that egg freezing works and could help women, especially in India from the worry that they are running out of time to be a mother.
