Sree Annam:

  • Yield: 30-40 tons per hectare.
  • Yellow in colour.
  • High carotene content (0.270 mg/100g).
  • Good cooking quality; cooks well.
  • Very low starch content.
  • Harvesting period: 9-10 months.
  • Moderately drought-resistant.
  • High resistance to mosaic disease.
  • Short internodal distance.
  • Grows to approximately 1.5 meters in height.
  • Tubers can be stored for up to 7 days without spoilage.

Sree Manna:

  • Yield: 40-50 tons per hectare with only 25% of the recommended fertilizer.
  • Good cooking quality; cooks well; tasty.
  • Low starch content (50-75 ppm), resulting in a sweeter tuber.
  • Grows to 1.5 – 2 meters in height.
  • High resistance to mosaic disease.

Planting material:
Limited miniset planting material samples are available at the CTCRI sales counter. Commercially viable planting material for cultivation will be available by April-May 2025.
