Round Table India, the largest association of Round Table International, got new helmsmen at a 'change of guard' event at Hotel Ramada, Lucknow, on July 14.

Dhruv Dalmia from Kanpur took over as national president of the 4,700-member organisation at an event christened 'Bakaiti' in true UP lingo.

Dhruv Dalmia introduced his head board which will steer the Round Table towards achieving its vision, 'To live life and achieve the best for the organisation.'

The head board will have Piyush Daga as national vice-president (from Nagpur Round Table 83); Akshay Dugar from Chennai as national secretary; Ashish Gupta from Delhi as national treasurer; and Christopher Arvinth from Coimbatore as immediate past president.

Apart from the head board, the national president also introduced his 100-member team which will steer the Round table towards achieving its objectives of serving society and indigent children.
