This nation sets record for world's longest average male genitalia: Reasons, myths, India's ranking

'Great connections aren’t measured by inches' is a saying often heard in dating circles. Still, society has long been obsessed with the size of male anatomy and its supposed impact on relationship health.
A recent study says the African country of Sudan holds the record for the world's longest average penis length. Data Pandas, a dataset compendium, conducted the study. The average erect penis length among Sudanese men is 7.07 inches (17.95 cm), the study reports. This is approximately two inches longer than the global average, which ranges from 5.1 to 5.5 inches.

Data Pandas compiled its ranking by analysing data from several international studies. The findings were published in the International Journal of Sexual Medicine. The Democratic Republic of Congo ranks second, with an average penis length of 7.05 inches. Other countries in the top five are Ecuador (6.93 inches), the Republic of Congo (6.83 inches) and Ghana (6.81 inches).

Factors that influence the size
According to the World Population Review, some studies attribute the bigger sizes to environmental and hormonal factors. Apparently, race has just a marginal impact on penis size. Improper nutrition and medications can also affect the growth of the organ. Also, studies have disproven the belief that the size of a penis can be guessed by examining the sizes of shoes or hands. 

India's position
India ranks 105th on the list, with an average penis length of 5.09 inches (12.93 cm). China follows at 106th position, while Thailand is at the bottom of the list, with an average penis length of 3.72 inches. Several other Asian countries, including North Korea, Cambodia and Nepal, also rank lower in terms of average male penis length. The United States is ranked 68th among Western nations, the United Kingdom 60th, and Canada 74th on the Data Pandas list.
