'Mazhavil' actress Preeti Jhangiani's husband meets with accident: What blurred his vision?

Actor Pravin Dabas, who is married to actress Preeti Jhangiani (Kunchacko Boban's co-star in the film Mazhavil), recently met with an accident in Delhi while driving and there were speculations that he was driving under the influence of alcohol. However, Preeti clarified today that Pravin suffered from a concussion. Apparently, a flash of headlights blurred his vision, resulting in his car crashing into the divider. As per reports, Pravin experienced dizziness, double vision, drowsiness and nausea, all of which are signs of concussion. Pravin, who has starred in films like 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' and 'My Name Is Khan,' hasn't been able to speak much either. 

What is a concussion?
According to the Cleveland Clinic, a concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury. Usually, they are not life threatening, however, its effects can last for a few days, weeks or even longer. Rest is the most advised treatment to handle concussion. Those who suffered from an episode of concussion should abstain from all kinds of intense physical activities and sports till they heal, as they can cause the concussion again. The patients are also advised against using phones, watching TV, video games, reading, studying, working, driving, drinking, engaging in chores and transportation of any kind.
