Cold water and ice cubes
Rinsing your mouth with cold water or eating an ice cube could give you instant relief. Cold water will settle the swelling in the mouth.
Milk, yoghurt
Milk and yoghurt cool down the mouth and provide relief from pain. Moreover, these milk products act as a protective shield, reducing the burning sensation.
Honey
Honey is an anti-bacterial and anti - inflammatory agent that cures burn and prevents infection. Besides, you could apply honey over burns to heal them quickly.
Aloe vera gel
Applying aloe vera gel over the burned area is not only soothing but also helps in reducing swelling and pain.
Saltwater
Rinsing the mouth with saline water reduces the risk of infection. Mix half a teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water and rinse your mouth with it. You could try this multiple times in a day.
