The function was presided over by Dr George Joseph, the president of the All-Kerala Medical and Dental Graduates (AKMG), UAE, which donated the Tempo Traveller for the scheme. The first vehicle for the free transportation of dialysis patients was flagged off at the function by Naraynan Master from Nattika, a family member of one of the patients who avail the free dialysis service.
