Avoid moisture
The house and the surroundings should always be dry as flying termites love moisture. Do not dump waste or unwanted objects around the house. Moreover, make sure to ensure good air circulation inside the house. Check the pipes, drainages and AC units constantly to ensure there isn’t any leakage. Dehumidifiers could be used to keep the nook and corners of the house clean and dry to keep away termites.

Get rid of their food sources
Firewood, timber and paper are termites’ favourite food. So, do not keep these items in the basement of your house. Make sure to keep firewood or paper bundles away from the floor.
