Many houses built on small plots have been featured in the Homestyle section. However, not many articles have appeared about luxury abodes that are constructed on smaller plots. The owner of this luxury mansion in Muvattupuzha is a celebrated chef.
It indeed is an amazing feat that such a fabulous mansion has been built in a meagre 7 cents plot. Moreover, it was quite challenging that there were houses on both sides of this rectangular plot.
The slanting roof in multiple layers, the open balcony and the designer cladding work on the walls are the highlights of the elevation.
Designed in 2755 sqft, this amazing abode has a car porch, sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Meanwhile, there are two more bedrooms, upper living area and an open terrace on the upper floor.
The formal living area and the dining space are designed at double height to make the areas look vaster.
The custom-made furniture pieces elevate the classy elegance of the formal living area. The partition made with brick jali that separates the living area and the courtyard is a beautiful designer piece.
The dining table top is paved with nano white slab. Meanwhile, the upholstery chairs perfectly compliment the dining table. The family living area is close to the dining space. An ‘L’ shaped designer couch and a TV unit adorn this area.
A sliding glass door in the dining area opens to the patio. The wall here is highlighted with brick cladding that adds a rustic charm to the area. A pergola glass roof completes the patio.
The kitchen cabinets are done in multi-wood with PU paint finish. The countertop, meanwhile, has been paved with nano white. The splashback is pasted with matte-finished tiles that add a clean look to the kitchen.
The hand railings of the staircase feature the classic combination of wood and glass. The staircase leads to the upper living area.
The bedrooms are spacious and well-furnished. The bath-attached bedrooms have wardrobes for storage and separate dressing spaces. A glass sliding door in the bedroom on the upper floor opens to the balcony. Interestingly, the balcony has been turned into an attractive garden area.
The guests and relatives who visit the family say that the house hardly looks like it stands on just 7 cents. The interiors are designed as vast spaces with excellent air circulation.
