Every girl wants to look the best in her outfit. For brides, it is indeed an exhausting task to choose the best outfit for their big day. And here, a Mumbai-based designer, excelled that challenging task and created a lehenga, which is outstanding in every way possible. And, no prizes for guessing, it made her look ravishingly beautiful on the happiest day of her life.
Kresha Bajaj, fashion brand Koecsh's head, married to Vanraj Zaveri, designed her own statement lehenga, that has milestones of their love story embroidered unto it.
Bajaj had recently posted in her Instagram account thus, "As I knew my wedding lehenga would be something I would only wear once, I decided to make it a piece of artwork that I would later frame.”
The wedding lehenga pics are doing the rounds in social media since weeks and has grabbed many eyeballs.
She said that in order to make it a special piece of art, she decided to embroider her entire lehenga with their love story- the proposal at Maldives, the wedding venue at the Leela palace and all important moments up until their wedding.
She used traditional embroidery techniques and materials and the couple's names have also been embroidered! It was during a protest aimed in conservation of dolphins, did their love story begin. And so, she completed the hem of her lehenga with jumping dolphins.
It was the episodes of “the Real Housewives” show, that inspired her to design such a wedding dress and to finally frame it. Her wedding jewelry was designed by her husband Vanraj Zaveri, who is the descendant of Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri & Sons.
