Ambika Pillai: Do it up with flowers

With the help of hair extensions, even those with short hair can try out different and stylish hair styles. Try out this beautiful flower hairdo and leave the world spellbound!

1.Part the hair on either side and to the bottom as shown in the picture.

2.Tie this section of the hair with a hair band and secure the ponytail firmly with a clip.

3.The ponytail should be tied to one side as shown here. Select the side that you prefer.

4.French braid this section of hair remaining on the right side.

5.The braiding is done a little differently from the usual French braids. Only a part of the hair comes close to one side of the braid.

6.In the same manner repeat the French braid on the hair section on the opposite side.

7.Join both these braids with the ponytail and clip it up tightly.

8.The hair left below could also be plaited up twice or thrice.

9.Roll up all the braids together and pin it tightly.

10.Over this, pin up the hair extension onto one side.

11.Take some of the curls on the hair extension, roll and use a U-clip to fasten this.

12.Layer the curls in different levels. The shorter curls should lie above and the long curls should lie low.

13.Use flower shaped hair accessories to decorate the curls on one side.

Wondrous curls

For brides with short hair, instead of tying a bun for the wedding or reception, try out hair extensions with natural looking curls. This will give a different and stylish look.

Use crystal or flower hair accessories that go with the outfit to decorate the hair extension curls.
