Swasika became the heart-throb of Malayalam television audience through her noteworthy roles in two hit serials, 'Dathuputhri' and 'Seetha' aired in two leading Malayalam television channels. The Kochi lass who made her acting debut in Tamil through 2009 film 'Vaigai,' is a dancer, video jockey and a stage anchor.
Although busy multi-tasking between her various professions, Swasika finds time to flaunt her favourite attire, dress up accordingly and pose for photographs. The 27-year-old actor is an ardent fan of saris. Swasika has a good collection of fancy and designer saris which she occasionally wears along with her self-styled make-up and ornamentation.
In a stunning photoshoot, Swasika had recently exhibited one of her favourite saris. The young actor gleamed in pure bright red sari, bordered and embroidered with peacock blue silk. The sari has also been studded with self-coloured beads.
While it appears to be a normal Georgette designer sari, the young actor said there is a touching tale behind it. Swasika's red sari was gifted by one Sawaswathy Amma, who is a great fan of her serial 'Seetha.' A native of Koratty in Thrissur district, Saraswathy Amma travelled all way to Keezhillam to meet Swasika and gifted her the sari.
“I was so surprised when I saw Saraswathy amma at my doorstep. I consider this sari as an award. It was worth getting displayed well. Hence, I organized a photoshoot exclusively to display it,” she said.
Swasika dons large black bindi, antique metal bangles and white-bead jhumkas with her blond hair let loose. The star has also worn a stone-studded show-piece hand-cuff.
Swasika is seen elegantly posing for the pix displaying mudras of classical dance. For the dancer-turned actor, sari boosts her confidence levels while carrying her grace and personality at their best.
