Kochi: The Media Hackathon as part of a digital summit to commemorate 20 years of launch of ManoramaOnline is slated to be held here Saturday. This is the first time that a media firm is organizing a hackathon.
Out of the 200 online registrations, about 28 contestants have been shortlisted to participate in the hackathon. Three finalists would have a chance to present their ideas at 'Techspectations,' the digital summit, on the November 19.
The first three winners would receive Rs 2 lakh, Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 1 lakh as prizes respectively. The event is being held at Hotel Avenue Centre at Panampilly Nagar.
Top executives of reputed firms, entrepreneurs and tech gurus are expected to take part in Techspectations. Skyline is the main sponsor of the programme.
