Kochi: The Kerala Blasters FC have unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season.
The new jersey spots long, dark yellow stripes on the classic yellow jersey. And the blue shorts have made a comeback. For the last season, even the shorts were yellow.
Club owner Nikhil Bharadwaj and chief executive officer (CEO) Viren D’Silva unveiled the jersey on Monday as ardent fans cheered for the Yellow Army.
Representatives of sponsors Muthoot Pappachan group, Jain (deemed to-be) University, Asian Paints, and Skyfoam - Sandeep Vellarikkad, Dr Shaji Thomas, Rupesh S Nair and Sunil Kumar Kartha - also took part in the event.
The fans' attire, with 'Yellow Yellow, Yellow Original' written on the back, was also unveiled. They would also be given the opportunity to inscribe words as per their liking.
