India-NZ T20I: Mohanlal inaugurates ticket sales

Thiruvananthapuram: The Greenfield International Stadium at Kariavattom is all set to host the first-ever Twenty20 International in the state here on November 7. The official tickets sales for the India-New Zealand match was inaugurated by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal here Thursday evening.

There has been a huge rush for the game, which will be the third and final T20I of the series.

There are only 5,400 tickets left for the game. These remaining tickets will be sold through eight Federal Bank branches in Thiruvananthapuram from October 30 (Monday). The online ticket booking started well in advance.

The ground has a capacity of 40,000 and out of this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has allotted 10,000 for the sponsors.
