The Twitterati have been quick to point out that both de Villiers and Kohli had posed for selfies with Dunya News journalist Zainab ahead of their games against Pakistan and Sri Lanka respectively. The fans believe selfie with Zainab resulted in the deadly duo failing to even open their accounts.
