The wonderful tropical fruit tastes amazing in numerous forms, especially when whipped into desserts. Here's the recipe of a tempting dessert that also has cashews, almonds, pistachios and vermicelli adding richness to the sweetness of mangoes.
Ingredients
2 ripe mangoes
3 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp chopped cashews
2 tbsp chopped almonds
2 tbsp chopped pistachios
½ cup vermicelli
4 cups milk
¼ cup sugar

Preparation
Blend the ripe mangoes in a mixer jar to make puree
Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan
Fry the cashews, almonds and pistachios
Keep them aside to be used later
Add one more tablespoon of ghee into the same pan
Roast the vermicelli
Add the milk
Allow the milk to boil well
This would take up to 7 – 8 minutes
Add sugar when the milk boils
Boil for five more minutes until the sugar melts
Keep stirring so that fat layer wouldn’t be formed
Allow this mixture to cool
Into it add the mango puree
Mix well
Keep this in the fridge for 10 – 15 minutes
Take the dessert out of the fridge
Garnish with mango and apple pieces (you could use any fruits except pineapple)
Sprinkle fried nuts too
Mix well and serve.
