Ingredients
2 chicken legs
2 tsp tamarind extract
Salt as required
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1 tsp pepper powder
½ tsp chili powder (toasted and powdered dried chili)
½ tsp freshly powdered coriander
¼ tsp garam masala
¼ tsp kasuri methi or dried fenugreek seeds
1 tsp ghee
A pinch of black salt
1 tsp ginger – garlic paste
3 tsp yoghurt
2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp oil
Preparation
Take the tamarind extract, salt, turmeric powder, Kashmiri chili powder, pepper powder, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, dried fenugreek powder, ghee, black salt, ginger – garlic paste, yoghurt, coriander leaves and oil
Mix everything to make the marinade
Marinate the chicken legs with this special mixture
Keep the marinated chicken in the fridge for at least half an hour (keep it overnight to make chicken extra soft and juicy)
After half an hour, grill the marinated chicken on both sides
Easy and delicious BBQ tamarind chicken is ready!
