The umpteen varieties of the humble bread toast have numerous fans ranging from little kids to the older generation. Nobody can also dispute how bread toast can make you feel awesome, nostalgic, healthy and full, all at the same time unlike most foods. Here's a version of the popular snack with a fruity twist, adding banana.
Ingradients
2 ripe plantains
1 tsp ghee
1 ¼ cups milk
½ tsp cardamom powder
1 ½ tbsp sugar
½ cup wheat flour
12 bread slices
6 tbsp jam/ chocolate sauce
Preparation
Blend all the ingredients except bread slices and jam in a mixer jar
Meanwhile, spread jam/chocolate sauce on the bread slices
Pour the batter into a bowl
Dip the sandwiches in the batter
Heat ghee on a pan
Fry the battered bread in hot ghee
Cook until both the sides are toasted well
Delicious bread – banana toast is ready.
