Aval milk made with flattened rice is a tasty and filling drink that could be enjoyed for Iftar. Here is how to make it without adding any extra sugar or honey but some fruits and a scoop of ice cream.
Ingredients
½ cup flattened rice (aval)
2 bananas
½ cup peanuts (roasted)
3 tbsp dried fruits
¼ cup fruits
250 ml milk
3 tbsp saffron syrup
1 scoop ice cream
Preparation
Toast the flattened on medium flame for three minutes
Cut the bananas and mash them using a fork
Add toasted flattened rice, mashed bananas, roasted peanuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits into a serving glass
Mix the saffron syrup in cold milk
Pour this into the glass
Add a scoop of ice cream on top
Garnish with more peanuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits
Thick and creamy aval milk is ready!
