This classy sweet and sour tequila cocktail has found its fame through movies and TV references. The place of origin is also contented with some cocktail historians claim it is from California while most others terms it has Mexican roots. Despite its high social standing and rich history, margarita is as humble as a cocktail can get. It's just tequila, Triple Sec and lime juice. All mixed to perfection and served in an upturned sombrero glass rimmed with salt. According to data from CGA by NielsenIQ’s cocktail tracker, Margarita has been the most popular cocktail in the US so far in 2023.
