Ingredients
2 glasses raw rice
1 glass grated coconut
¾ glass boiled rice
1 glass coconut water
2 ½ tbsp sugar
Salt as required

Preparation
Wash the raw rice and soak for at least three hours
Grind the soaked raw rice, grated coconut and boiled rice with sugar, salt and coconut water in a mixer jar
Add enough water too
The batter should be a bit loose
Transfer the batter into a bowl
Keep it open for five minutes
If the weather is too cold, then keep the bowl in a vessel with warm water
Keep it like this for at least eight hours or overnight
The batter would rice nicely
However, there is no need to do this during summer
In the morning, make soft and fluffy appams.
