Ingredients
300 gms jaggery
½ cup water
1 cup grated coconut
1 ripe banana
1 cup rice flour
1 ½ cups wheat flour
½ tsp cardamom powder
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup water
Oil to fry
Preparation
Prepare the jaggery syrup by melting 300 gms jaggery in water
Take the jaggery syrup, grated coconut and ripe banana in a mixer jar
Blend well
Into it add rice flour, wheat flour, cardamom powder, salt and water
Blend well without any lumps
Pour this into a vessel
Add more water if required
Mix well and keep aside for 20 minutes
Heat oil in a pan
Pour a ladle full of batter into hot oil
Make sure to turn up the flame when the batter is poured
Fry both sides on medium flame
Enjoy with hot tea or coffee.
