Ingredients
5 slices of bread
½ cup milk
2 eggs
½ tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp sugar
A pinch of salt
Butter as required
Preparation
Beat eggs in a bowl
Add milk, sugar, vanilla essence and salt and mix well
Heat a pan and spread butter
Dip the bread in the egg mix and put it on the pan
Make sure the heat is low or medium
Flip the bread when one side is fried and brown in colour
Keep flipping sides until both sides are evenly fried
Fry the rest of the bread in the same way
Simple and tasty Bombay toast is ready
Pour honey or maple syrup and serve.
