Ingredients
20 quail eggs
½ kg onions
1 tbsp ginger (finely chopped)
1 tbsp garlic (finely chopped)
4 green chillies
½ tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tomato
Curry leaves
4 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp peppercorns
Salt as required

Preparation
Boil the quail eggs
Heat coconut oil in a thick bottomed pan or vessel
Sauté the onion slices with a tsp of salt
Into it add ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves
Sauté well
When the onions are sautéed well and oil begins to ooze, add turmeric powder, chilli powder coriander powder, crushed fennel and peppercorns
Sauté until the raw smell of the powders are gone
Add tomato puree
Sauté until the water reduces from the tomato puree and oil begins to separate
Now add the boiled quail eggs
Roast for some more time until the eggs are mixed well with the masala
Turn off the flame and enjoy tasty quail egg roast.
