Ingredients
For the dough
1 cup lukewarm milk
2 ½ tsp yeast
1 egg
3 tsp melted butter
1/3 cup sugar
½ tsp salt
3 ½ cups all purpose flour
For the filling
3 tsp softened butter
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon powder
For the icing
1 cup powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp milk

Preparation
Mix the lukewarm milk, yeast, egg and melted butter in a bowl
Meanwhile, mix some salt in 3 cups of all purpose flour
Add the milk - yeast mix into the all purpose flour
Mix well into soft dough
Add the remaining ½ cup all purpose flour if needed
After kneading for at least 10 minutes, transfer the dough into another vessel
Keep it aside for at least 1 hour for the dough to rise
After an hour, knead the dough lightly
Now roll it into 14x18 inches sheet
Spread the softened butter on this sheet
Mix the cinnamon powder and brown sugar
Sprinkle this cinnamon mixture on the sheet
Now roll it loosely into a cylinder
Press the edges by rubbing some water
Cut this roll into 12 pieces
Grease a 3.9x13 inches baking dish with some melted butter
Place the cinnamon rolls in the tray with some gap between the pieces
Rest these for another 1 hour before baking
After an hour, brush some melted butter on the cinnamon rolls
Pre heat the oven at 350 degree Celsius
Place the baking dish with the rolls in the middle rack
Bake for 30 minutes
Take out the tray and allow the rolls to cool down a bit
Prepare the icing by mixing sugar, vanilla extract and milk
Pour this icing over the cinnamon rolls
