Ingredients
1 cup carrot (chopped)
1 cup cabbage (chopped)
½ cup beans (chopped)
1 tsp ginger
4 tbsp garlic
2 -3 green chillies
1 small bell pepper
Spring onion
Coriander leaves
10 tbsp all purpose flour
Corn flour
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp tomato sauce
3 tbsp soy sauce
Oil to fry
Water as required
Salt as required
Sugar as required
Preparation
Season the vegetables with salt and pepper
Add the all purpose flour slowly to make sure that all the pieces are nicely coated
Add some water and mix well
Make small balls from this veg mixture
Keep these balls in the fridge for at least half an hour
Rub some water on your palms so that the mixture wouldn't stick while making balls
After half an hour, fry the veg balls in hot oil on medium flame
Heat oil in a pan and sauté ginger, garlic, green chillies and spring onion
Add the bell pepper and sauté until it turns soft
Now add the spring onion stem and coriander leaves
Into it add the tomato sauce and soy sauce
Mix well
Add the fried veg balls
Mix corn flour in some water and add into the dish
Stir until the gravy turns thick and glossy
Garnish with chopped spring onion and coriander leaves
Tasty veg Manchurian is ready.
