Ingredients

½ kg raw papaya (diced into small cubes)
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt as required

¼ cup green gram (soaked and cooked)

1 cup grated coconut
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 pinch turmeric powder

2 tbsp coconut oil
5.
1 tsp mustard
6.
3 dried red chillies
½ cup grated coconut
3-4 sprigs of curry leaves

Preparation
Cook the diced papayas with chilli powder, turmeric, and salt
Add cooked green gram to this and cook well
Grind the ingredients labelled 3, into a coarse paste and add it to the papaya and green gram mix and cook
Check the salt at this stage and remove from the stove
Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds
Add the 6th ingredients into this and saute till the coconut turns light golden brown
Temper the cooked curry with this mix.
