Ingredients
1 cup puffed rice
1 cup grated coconut
1 cup jaggery (melted)
Cardamom and cumin as per taste
2 cups rice flour
Salt as required
Water as required
Preparation
Heat a mud vessel (chatty) and roast the puffed rice
Add the grated coconut and mix well
When the coconut gets heated up, add the meted jaggery
Stir well
When it is the right consistency add the cardamom and cumin
Mix well and take off the heat
Prepare dough by mixing rice flour, salt and water as required
Spread the dough on a banana leaf
Place a spoonful of the malar-jaggery filling in the centre of the dough
Fold it in the middle and cook in steam.
