Here is a simple recipe for tasty and colourful beetroot wine which can be prepared in just 14 days.
Ingredients
1 kg beetroot
1 kg sugar
3 bottles water
Juice of 2 oranges
Juice of 2 lemons
1 tsp yeast
Preparation
Cook the beetroot
Crush the cooked beetroot and squeeze the extract out of it
Add sugar, orange juice, lemon juice, and yeast into the beetroot extract
Stir well
Transfer this into a mud jar and seal it using a clean piece of cloth
Stir the wine everyday on a specific time using a wooden spoon
On the 14th day, stir well and pass it through a clean muslin or cotton cloth
Store the wine in glass bottles.
