Chicken tenders to serve with a zingy sauce

×

These crusted chicken fillets served with a zingy sauce would make the perfect afters-chool snack. They are made with soft, boneless chicken strips. Unlike the traditional breadcrumb coating, the strips are rolled in cheese crackers before frying to give it a unique flavour.

Ingredients
500 gm boneless chicken
½ cup beaten plain yoghurt
¼ tsp salt
2 cups of crushed Monaco biscuit (or any cheese flavoured cracker)
Flavourless oil for frying as needed

Preparation
Marinate the chicken with curd and salt for a minimum of 15 minutes
Drain out the excess marinade
Coat the chicken in crushed Monaco biscuits and fry till golden brown
Alternatively, you can bake it at 200 C for 15 mins (turning once mid way)
