Easy semolina and veggie pancake
Easy semolina and veggie pancake
An easy-to-make pancake made with semolina and embellished with chosen veggies, this makes for an easy and delicious breakfast item.
Ingredients
¼ cup carrot sliced into tiny pieces
½ tsp cumin seeds
½ cup curd
¼ cup ghee
¼ cup onion, sliced fine
¼ cup semolina/rava
2-3 green chillies, deseeded
½ tsp pepper powder
Salt, as required
Preparation
Take the curd in a larger bowl
Take around the same quantity of water and mix with the curd
Toss in the rava little by little, as much is required to make it a loose batter
Let it soak for about 10-15 minutes
Once soaked, toss the carrots, onion, green chilli and cumin seeds. Mix well
Add salt and pepper powder and give it a good stir
On a flat plan, spread the batter a little thick
Drizzle some ghee on it
Flip and let it get cooked
Serve the pancake hot
