While the rain pours out, you look for some warmth and company. Whip up these crunchy treats, for they are warm and they make for the best company!
Ingredients
To cook fish
250gm fish
Salt as required
Pepper powder as required
¼ tsp turmeric powder
For the mix
½ cup onion, chopped
1 ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
6 green chillies chopped
1 tsp black pepper powder
2 ½ tsp lemon juice
1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
½ piece coconut grated
1 tsp chopped ginger
few sprigs of coriander and mint leaves chopped
1 egg
bread crumbs for coating
Oil for frying
Preparation
Cook the fish with salt, turmeric and pepper and shred it into small pieces. Keep this aside
Sauté the onions, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste with little pepper and salt
Once cooked, add the coriander leaves and lemon juice. Remove from fire
Without mixing water, grind coconut, chopped ginger, mint leaves and coriander leaves
Make balls of the fish mix and stuff this with the ground coconut mix inside. Shape into firm balls
Beat the egg and dip the balls into this one by one
Roll it in bread crumbs and fry in hot oil till they turn golden brown in colour
