Saucy beef stir fry, a Thai specialty

Do you love red meat? This slightly tangy, slightly spicy beef fry is just what you need to add a dash of excitement to your evening get-togethers. Be it an iftar party or a friendly family dinner.

Ingredients
200 gm tender beef
4 garlic cloves, crushed
¼ cup oil
1 onion, chopped finely
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
½ tsp pepper powder
½ tsp sugar

Preparation
Chop the beef into small pieces lengthwise
If the beef is refrigerated for a few hours, the chopping becomes easier and you will get symmetrical pieces
Heat a pan and saute garlic in it
Turn up the flame, add the sliced meat and saute again for four minutes
Add the chopped onions, saute for two minutes
Now add the sauces and the sugar
Mix well and saute again for two minutes
As the sauces come with salt in them, there is no need to add salt separately
Serve the stir fry along with roti or rice
