Jini dosa made by adding tasty fillings in regular dosa is one of the most popular street foods in Mumbai. Here is the recipe of the Jini dosa.
Ingredients
Bell pepper
Carrot
Tomato
Onion
Green chillies
Coriander leaves
2 tbsp schezwan sauce
1 tsp chat masala
1 tsp pav bhaji masala
Grated cheese
Preparation
Soak the idli rice and the urad dal separately for at least 4 hours
Grind them into smooth dosa batter
Keep aside the batter for 7-8 hours or overnight for it to rise
Pour a ladle full of batter on a hot greased pan
Spread finely chopped bell pepper, carrot, tomato, onion, green chillies and coriander leaves over the dosa
You could also add other vegetables of your choice
Add the schezwan sauce, chat masala and pav bhaji masala
Sprinkle the grated cheese as well
Roll the dosa with the filling inside and cut into 3 pieces
Garnish with more grated carrot and cheese
Sprinkle some finely chopped coriander leaves as well
